First off we have to say how overwhelmed we have been by everyone's generosity towards this cause of helping Katie and Dennis's family. People are so good! We appreciate your bids, your donations, your links on Facebook, blogs and spreading the word through email. And most of all we appreciate your well wishes and prayers. Saying thank you doesn't seem adequate. How generous you all have been!Starting this blog and raising funds this way has been a complete experiment. . . so we are just feeling our way through this. After a few days of experience we are making a few changes: We have decided to close all open auctions out Sunday night, February 22. Winners will be notified with payment options on Monday. We will also post a few more items up for auction, but the closing dates on all future items will only be two days after they are posted. (with the exception of some bigger ticket items we have in store) We'll post new items every two days. This process will make it more manageable for us and hopefully make it easier for you to navigate and see the newest items.
Also, if you win an auction and have not left your email in the comment or sent your info to the chart email (on the side bar), we have no way to contact you. If you don't respond by Tuesday to winning the auction, the item will go to the next highest bidder.
